I had high hopes for this design, but ran into a lot of complications with the petals overlapping. It still turned out OK, considering that I put it on the back burner for several months or maybe even a year before I got back to it.

I think this is a basic quilting pattern, but I tried to give some edge by using black, white & red.

I made this pillow specifically for my niece. I saw a cute quilt pattern in a Pottery Barn for Kids magazine, took some elements that I liked and made this.

This pillow was made for a niece who loves the color blue. It's a fairly simple design that only uses 3 colors, which appeals to me more than some of the multi-colored pillows that I have done.

I have a few Michigan fans in my family and made these pillows as gifts.

As you can see, I have a bit of a theme going with the 9 squares... It's part of my nature to want to organize everything. If it didn't drive my husband crazy I would have all the CDs organized by genre and alphabetically. He's more of a free spirit and likes the fact that if he wants to hear something specific, he has to look for it. It's sort of a treasure hunt for him because as he's hunting for a specific CD, he'll often find several others that he forgot about.

This is another one of my 9 square pillows. I was experimenting with tone on tone colors and I liked the outcome so much that I'll probably do some variation of this again
