I found these shower curtains at a thrift store and paid .50 cents for them. I sewed a border on the top and slid the valance rod thru it.

This is actually my finest piece. It is a cardboard version of an old tube radio cabinet, except this cabinet holds a turntable in the top compartment and vinyls and speakers in the lower compartment. Those curved doors at the bottom are where the speakers and records sit, while the top curved part lifts up to access the turntable. The middle door opens drawbridge style to give access to the turntables controls.

This is the first piece of furniture I built, made from the cardboard of an old television box. I gave it a bit of a nautical/celestial theme. The blue is actually much darker (darn camera flash), and the star shaped drawer handle is light yellow.

I built this nightstand as a friend's housewarming gift. The frame and exterior is cardboard, covered in paper mache and newspaper, then coated with wood glue to give it more rigidity. I then painted it with matte black interior house paint. Together with the brass drawer knob, this project cost me approx. 15 dollars to make. It holds at least 50 pounds and is mostly waterproof (though I have not actually spilled water on it yet...)

This is a whimsical little bookcase I made out of a box from a water heater. It's obviously unfinished, but I'd like to eventually give it a mottled look in blues and turquoises, and line the inside walls with dark colored velvet. I imagine I'd use this for small objects such as framed pictures and knick-knacks.

Found these wild looking curtains for .99 cents at a thrift store, along with a 70's floor rug (orange as well - "The Belissimo Collection" by sears! - 1973)

These are made of recycled sweaters, upholstery and a few mother-of-pearl buttons.

These are something I made a bunch of this last Christmas, they were really popular, I even got mentioned on the USA Today website for these ornaments...

all recycled materials, twigs for legs, sweaters, t-shirts and embroidery.
