My children say I'm eccentric, I say I'm ecclectic, maybe they are both the same.  I love to be comfortable, inviting, come on in, kick your shoes off and prop the feet right up there.  The kitchen in my house is always MY domain.  The house I'm in now is the first kitchen I've had that is not purple.  In fact, right now, every wall in  my house is the same color - yellow, kind of that goldish, brownish, yellow.  It goes with everything at the moment and I don't have the strength right now to repaint, although, its going to need it soon and then colors will start changing!  I'm in the process of building my very own craft room.  I think I'm going to do it in pink and brown. I found the most beautiful pink, eccentric looking chandilier the other day, and my birthday is coming soon...yes, I've told everyone I know that I am desiring that light fixture for my craft room.  I want that room to totally represent me, funky, weird, comfy, retro, shabby-shiek, disorganized organized, and functional.  I have several interests, stained glass, jewelry making, die cut stamping, sewing, painting, wood carving, and working with metals.  Its going to be really hard to make my craft room totally functional!  I do know my colors and I do know that I want a nice big, soft, comfy, chair and a half, with an ottoman, so I can sit and do my thing with my two labs in my lap!
