A Greener Way to Tear Apart a House

This summer, I'm flipping a house, the green way. The demo has begun. We carefully tore apart the house and sold, reused, recycled or gave away whatever we could. Here are some materials that we kept out of the landfill (making money in the process):
- Cast iron piping was sent to the recycling center
- Copper piping and wire were sold to the local scrap yard
