Very cool lamp made from old cassettes

By Doug Aamoth

I've long since gotten rid of my old cassette tapes but if you've got some sitting around, this is a very cool-looking project. This "Cassette Tape Lamp" was designed by Transparent House out of San Francisco and quite simply consists of a bunch of old tapes inside their transparent cases, glued together. The light patterns that the tapes give off look really cool. Note to self: find some old tapes.

That is one cool lamp. I think I have found a great use for that box full of tapes. Might add a good effect having much loved band names glowing on the wall.
