Cramped for space? Hang a room outside your window!

Yes, that's pretty much exactly what it appears to be; a box suspended off the side of a building, supported by steel cables. Known as the "Rucksack House," it's "a hovering illuminated space that looks like a cross between temporary scaffolding and minimal sculpture...intended to be an additional room that can be suspended from the facade of any residential building."



I don't know about the whole "any residential building" part -- you'd likely have to get some sort of special permit to do this. Cool though, huh?
