Radiator plate keeps muffins and coffee warm

By Doug Aamoth

Ceramic radiator heating plate

So simple, yet so smart. It's hard to believe this is just a concept! It's a long ceramic plate called the "Natural Wave" and it was designed by Byung-seok You.

Seems like it wouldn't necessarily take a rocket scientist to create one of these for personal use. Any ceramic experts care to chime in? Easy? Difficult? Cheap? Expensive? The coffee and muffins seem right at home there.

It is also great to leave a pot of water on your radiator if you feel your place gets too dry in the cold months. The water will heat up and evaporate creating your very own humidifier!
