Credit Crunch blauegh

By David Rowtree

A quick update - I've been trying to sell the house for the last 9 months but obviously the current situation isn't helping much and I don't really want to drop the price.  I'm in no hurry so the trip may be postponed a year but it will happen I'm sure!

Unfortunately for me, I am not one of the latter.

Of course the super rich couldn’t care less about making a loss. A few million to them » READ MORE

Musings on home..

By David Rowtree

Home. The word has a sort of cosy feeling, doesn't it? Warm. Comforting. Safe.

Now think about those instances where the word is used not on it's own but in front of another: home dentistry; home brewing; home improvement; home business; Homeland Security; Home Shopping Network; homework. 'Home' begins to take on quite a different set of connotations there, doesn't it? It starts to imply something dodgy, something amateurish, somethin » READ MORE
