Flooded House?

Well, sort of. The Hind House by John Pardey Architects stands on columns at the edge of the River Loddon, near Wargrave, England. When the river floods the house is ready for it. The views are great in a flood, but what about those first few days and weeks when the water recedes? Although, post-flood life would be better lived in this house than the one to the right in the picture above.
