Temple Built with Reused Glass Bottles

By DIY Maven

Back in the mid-80's the monks of the Wat Pa Maha Chedio KaewSisaket temple, Thailand, started collecting bottles with which they could decorate their buildings. Their creative use of the bottles motivated visitors to bring empty bottles to the temple as well. Now, 20 years later or so, they have a beautiful compound embellished with over ONE MILLION BOTTLES.
