How to Turn Saran Wrap Tubes into Napkin Rings

By DIY Maven

Merriment :: Recycled Fabric Napkin Rings from Sarah Wrap Tubes by Kathy Beymer

The title of this post might suggest a 'kid craft', but Merriment Design's creation is anything but kid-like. These lovely napkin rings would give any store-bought equivalent a run for its money, that's for sure. Plus it's a great way to recycle those cardboard tubes and fabric remnants.

To make some of your own, you'll need....

  • fabric
  • no-sew interfacing
  • grosgrain ribbon
  • fabric scissors
  • pinking shears
  • invisible tape, optional
  • fabric glue or 2-sided adhesive
  • rotary cutter, clear ruler and cutting mat (but don't worry if you don't have these; you'll be able to get by without them)

To see how the project all comes together, follow this link to Merriment Design.
