For Sale: Lance Armstrong's Texas Ranch
By DIY Maven
We all know you can tell a lot about a person by the way he or she chooses to decorate his or her house. What Lance Armstrong's house suggests is that he's the kind of person who likes order and doesn't tolerate b.s. It also suggests that he appreciates luxury of the masculine sort. I wonder if the furnishings are included in the price tag...which was just reduced to 10.5 million.

Other tidbits of information you might like to know: The house is located in Dripping Srpings, TX. It was built in 2003, is 4,241 sq ft., has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms as well as an infinity pool. The surrounding 447 acres features 7 miles of hiking and biking trails that fronts the Pedernales River.

Looks to me like it was "staged" by a pro. No personal touches, no clutter etc. kind of cold, impersonal so you can see your own things here.

I'll take it.
The huge windows and stellar view make it twice as cool as it would be without. And I love the well-lit solid-color painting above the fireplace. Very Mark Rothko (one of my wife's faves).

I love that it is so comfy and not fancy. You could totally imagine being relaxed there, not worrying about breaking something or being blinded by popular (read AWFUL) decorating that seems to be so popular with sports gurus and celebrities. Plus, think of the sweet nap you could take in that theater room...
