Making Mossy Wall Art

Mossy Wall Art

Remember the Styrofoam wall art post? Well, here's another version making cool art out of the stuff but using faux moss instead of paper and fabric. To whip a nature-y triptych up of your own, you'll need some stuff, which include:

  • 1 sheet of 36" x 12" x 1" or 3 squares of 12" x 12" Styrofoam
  • 3 14" x 14" sheets of faux moss
  • a serrated knife
  • a candle stub or paraffin
  • ruler
  • dental floss (optional)
  • a scissors
  • straight pins
  • a level
  • poster adhesive or small sawtooth hangers an nails for hanging
  • low-temp glue gun and glue sticks
  • tacky white craft glue
  • curly willow twigs, raffia or twine, for embellishment, but totally optional

To read how to put it all together, follow this jump.
