Totally DIYable Blackboard Clock

Talk about multitasking! This new item at Graham and Green is not only a clock, it's a chalkboard and a bulletin board as well. It also costs £52.50 or about 74 bucks to we Yanks. However, a very acceptable knock-off could be put together with a square of inexpensive MDF, a bit of black chalkboard paint and some clock works. Of course magnets won't stick to MDF, but still...... If you're not into cutting MDF and stuff, you could just get one of these Bare Elements Wood Pressboard Clocks ($18) and give it the chalkboard treatment.

You could use magnetic primer under the chalkboard paint, or just use magnetic chalkboard paint.
