How to re-upholster a pair of sneakers.

By DIY Maven

Chezlin's little sister had a pair of shoes she she didn't like anymore, so Chezlin decided to re-upholster them. Okay, she re-covered them. No, actually, she re-MADE them. Not possible? Possible! Chezlin actually saw the instructions in Craft and decided to give it a go. Check it out....

First she cut out the fabric part,

then she made a pattern using those parts,

and then she glued in the new parts. Darling!

Slippers are another story. I wear them all winter long. I'm glad you mentioned them. Instead of buying a new pair next time I'm going to crochet a new top. It's always the tops that get holes in them first too.

Actually, I was thinking about trying something similar with an old pair of slippers but crochet new tops for them.

Cute, but I can honestly say I could not go to that much trouble for a pair of tennie runners. Not at my age anyway.
