How to Make a Cardboard Stampede

By DIY Maven

A few years ago, artist Ann Wood decided to assign herself the task of making a cardboard horse a day until she had 100 completed. When she was finished, she assembled them into a stampede. She has 3 patterns in her corral (get it, corral? heh), 2 adults and 1 colt. To make your own stampede, you'll need to assemble the following:

  • cardboard (Ann says any medium-weight cardboard will do. She is using cardboard from a gift box in this tute.)
  • scissors
  • pencil
  • manicure scissors, for precision cutting
  • hammer and one nail
  • buttons
  • thin wire
  • pliers
  • paint and brushes, glue, paper, fabric, lace, etc.

To see the entire process, check out this post at Design Sponge.

Can you imaging how much a little girl(or boy) who loves horses would adore this?? I know I was one of those girls, and I would have given my eye teeth to have that in my room.
