ColoRate, the 3D Color Wheel

As one of ColoRate's creators, Michael Douma, reminds us, 'color is inherently three dimensional' so to have a color-picker that works in conjunction with how our minds work makes perfect sense. Michael describes ColorRate as 'a free online service that has some similarities to Adobe Kuler, but is different in that it's in 3D. Users can browse color palettes, create new palettes, and share palettes with others in the ColoRotate community.' A very promising tool for those who are obsessed with--or just enjoy experimenting with--color.
