By DIY Maven

How delish does that look? And just in time for warm summer weekend afternoon too! This quick recipe--yes, it only takes five minutes to whip up--has scant ingredients. They include:

  • 1 package frozen fruit
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Head on over to this instructable to see how it's made. Mmmmmm. Yummy.

Yeah, I know .... except it's really really good. The bananas give it a really creamy texture, and there's plenty of sugar in the fruit to make it sweet. It actually tastes just like ice cream.

We use the Champion Juicer; it's incredible! You just throw in some frozen fruit (bananas, berries, etc.), and in seconds you have a thick, creamy sorbet-type thing. No added sugar or cream! It's really, really good on hot summer nights.
