Create A Summer Getaway–in Your Garage!

This charming one-stall garage was transformed into an outdoor getaway from spring to fall. What was done with all the tools and what-not usually found in such places, My Home Ideas doesn’t say, and I really don’t care. I also don’t care where the owners put the ‘garage decor’ during the winter. Ultimately, I’m loving this idea! MWT, on the other hand, wouldn’t go for it in a million years. When this garage was featured in in a magazine (Cottage Living, I think), I thought it was adorable and that it looked familiar. A week later I realized it was the house across the street from me! We lived in this adorable little town, on this tight knit one way street and it took me a whole week to reconginze the garage I looked at every day while working out. How smart was this architect/homeowner?
