How to Speak the Language of Flowers

By DIY Maven

created at: 2009-03-04

We all know roses have their own language. Red means love; pink means admiration. But what if you want to get a bit more poetic about your flower selection? For example, what if you want to convey devotion to your best friend...then what kind of flowers would you give? Honeysuckle and heliotrope that's what. To help you speak the language of flowers, visit this page at Santa Cruz Public Libraries for an alphabetized list of flowers-to-emotions translations.
