How to Upholster a Switch Plate
By DIY Maven
We've seen covered switch plates before here on Curbly, but this latest entry kicks the idea up a notch. The maker uses fabric instead of paper. Cool, huh?

To make one, you'll need:
- a smooth, stainless steel switch plate
- fabric just large enough to cover the switch plate
- 1/8" hole punch
- a sharp scissors
- Yes! paste
- Mod Podge in gloss
- brushes for applying Yes! and Mod Podge

I don't see why the plastic ones wouldn't work!

Very nice!! Have you tried using this on just the ugly plastic plate covers? Maybe I'll give that a go and see how it works out. Thanks for the idea.
