Make Homemade Conversational Heart Cookies

Most people find conversational hearts charming, but that chalky texture? Yeah, not so much. If you make these cookies, you can keep the conversation going while still enjoying a charming and sweet Valentine treat. It all starts with your favorite shortbread recipe. After mixing up your batter, you separate it, add food coloring of your choice, roll out, cut out and bake. For the conversation part, the mad scientists over at EMS suggest stencils and a can of decorating spray. As you can see, they has a flavr.
