How to throw a great Super Bowl party that won't blow your budget.
By DIY Maven
We only watch one football game a year around here and that's the Super Bowl*. And it's for the commercials. Whichever you're a fan of, you can still throw a party to celebrate. That is, if budget allows. To save some bucks and still get your party on, consider these tips from Celebrations:
- Throw a pot luck party.
- Get your decorations at the 99-cent store.
- Don’t buy hard–expensive–liquor and stick to soda and beer.
- Forget the fancy football shaped cake from the bakery and buy your desserts in bulk.
- Go for cheap appetizers like tortilla chips and salsa; maybe even make inexpensive nachos.
