How to make your own fortune cookies...from scratch!

Are you looking for a fun and creative way to celebrate the Chinese New Year? How about making Cindy's delicious, homemade fortune cookies? Their ingredients aren’t exotic in the least, so you probably have everything on hand to make them.

To make about 20 cookies, you’ll need:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 ½ T butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2/3 cups flour
  • ½ cup milk
  • 20 paper strip fortunes, of course!
