Could you do your 'business' in a see-through public toilet?

By DIY Maven

Constructed by Monica Bonvicini, this public toilet, called 'Don't Miss a Sec.', is made of 2-way mirrors. In Monica's own words '"Don't Miss a Sec." is about the desire and failure to "see it all" which is a strong trait in modernism. This work absurdly pushes at the limits of what is public and what is private and offers a perfomative element in which inside and outside are blurred together.' But back to my question: Could you do your 'business' in it?

Makes me nervous just thinking about it. Somehow, even though you know people can't see you, I think it'd be freaky.

I missed that episode of Scrubs, but I can imagine JD doing his business up there with a voice-over commentary.....

Given the judicious application of martinis and certain amount of desperation, probably. I do love the sleekness of the toilet/sink unit though.

Man, i would love to try it. lol it reminds me of that "toilet on the roof" episode of Scrubs. Some how it brings enlightenment. I dont know, I grew up with my mom not knowing wat clothes were so privacy wasnt an issue in my house. The bathroom door was never closed, but I think even this would shock me a little. Interesting though.
