The Articulating “O’clock”

By DIY Maven

Student at ESAD Strasbourg Nadine Grenier has created this remarkable piece entitled “O’clock”. Made of 500 clock works, the piece spells out a complete sentence every 12 hours. A quote from French poet Jules Romains, the sentence reads: “le temps passe, et chaque fois qu’il y a du temps passe, il y a quelque chose qui s’efface”, which, roughly translated, means “Time passes, and every time the time passes, there is something that fades”.
