From YMCA Gym to Apartment

Interior design firm The Apartment turned a 7,000 square foot YMCA into a 5-bedroom apartment that also includes an interior garden and a 12 person theater. Original elements include the girders which were restored and painted to blend seamlessly with the contemporary--and extraordinary–make over. The lower level of the structure is the apartment while the upper region was left as a showcase for the agency's work. Via.
