Hi-def is great until it clashes with your mid-century aesthetic. Wilkerson Furniture’s console for a flat screen t.v. will take care of that problem. Not yet in full production, the 44" x 55" console is a limited custom-order item. Via 2Modern.

Thanks! Yes, I always see the coolest Zenith (etc.) TV cabinets for sale at flea markets and antique shops, and their tubes aren't working anymore so I think it would be cool to use one to hide my modern ugly duckling of a boob tube.

LOVE it. I've been considering taking an old TV cabinet, knocking out the guts, screen and tubes, and placing my TV inside - I think it could work!
