The New Charles and Ray Eames Postage Stamps
By DIY Maven
On Tuesday of this week, the U.S. Postal Service issued 42-cent stamps honoring the work of Charles and Ray Eames. The 16 stamp sheet was designed by Derry Noyes and depicts all aspects of the Eames’s creative vision including architecture, furniture, film and exhibits. Your local post office should have these commemorative stamps; if they do not, you can order them from usps.com.

Girrrrlll! I'm heading down to pay for a bunch of retro stuff I just previewed at an estate sale. Lots of fantastic chairs for $18.00 each. I also found an easel for $4.00, a plain wood framed large round mirror for 18.00 and a long, mid century console cabinet for $85.00. OM freakin' G!!

I spotted these at the post office the same day I posted the article. I said, "You have Eames stamps!" and the woman waiting on me asked, "You know who they are?"
Any new projects in the works???
