Not Your Grandfather’s Grandfather Clock

By DIY Maven

created on: 06/09/08
New from Uncommon Goods is this sliver of a Grandfather Clock ($120). Made of pine and finished in a dark walnut stain, the concept puts a modern spin on a traditional–and bulky–piece.

I've not seen Willie Wonka since Gene Wilder so I don't remember the half clock from it. The newer one's  previews gave me the creeps so I didn't go see it. I tried a few searches in hopes to find a picture of the half clock with no luck.

Actually, I'll pass on both! (It sort of reminded me of the 'half-clock' in Willie Wonka. Don't see a lot of those in people's houses either!)

Think I'll stick with the good old fashioned grandfather clock. This one leaves a lot to be desired. Almost a "whole" lot. I have a feeling it will stay "uncommon" too. Don't you? Honestly?
