Tim Burton makes his scenes look much more consistent than this. This room just looks stark, bare, and unfinished. The tree reminds me of the child art project of blowing on a puddle of ink with a straw to create a tree.

More leaves would make the room less "Halloween lynching" and more "early spring." Maybe some flowers on the nightstand and a few more songbirds on the branches.
