1 Inexpensive Curtain Done 3 Ways

By DIY Maven

Question: What do you get when you buy a pair of tab curtains from Target and add some fabric and trim with adhesive? Answer: An inexpensive way to make custom curtains.

First up is horizontal black rick rack with lends a little geometry and widens the overall look of the window.

Next, add a 17" band of color. Because you’re not draping the entire window, this is a great way to incorporate that to-die-for fabric on a budget.

And finally, add detailed trim to frame the panel. In this case, crewelwork purchased from a fabric store.
