How to make a baseball coat rack for your little slugger!

By DIY Maven

It’s opening day for my favorite major leaguers, so to celebrate I searched for an appropriate how-to that Joe Mauer would love!

Here’s the obvious things you’ll need:

  • a 5 ½" by 32" length of 3/4" thick board
  • a 2 ½” hole saw and drill
  • red glossy paint
  • 1 child’s size bat (they’re 28" long)
  • 1 baseball
  • 3 wooden pegs

The maker also employed a router, by the looks of it, and his jointer. For further elucidation, go to Binky’s Woodworking. Pic courtesty of Binky!
