Keys are so last century, and so is the touch pad. The 00's are all about BioMetrics, baby! Kwikset now offers SmartScan Deadbolts, which read the sub dermal part of your fingertip. They have 3 levels of security, including 24/7 access for homeowners, temporary access for contractors and restricted access for baby sitters and housekeepers. Currently, the SmartScan is offered in satin nickel and Venetian bronze.
