Have you seen Palm Jumeirah? One of the three man-made palm-tree-shaped islands in Dubai with no less that 48.84 miles of shoreline? Wether we like the idea or hate it, we can bet Donald Trump is p.o.'d that he didn’t think of it first. The evidence: he’s putting up the Palm Trump International Hotel & Tower on the island’s trunk. Besides being a 368 room hotel, it will also house 388 apartments. Although I couldn’t find leasing and/or sales information for The Donald’s new digs, there are other properties available in Dubai less Trump-y. Among them are...
a fully furnished studio apartment in Green Community Lake Apartment for $245,520;
or a 2219 sqft, 2 bedroom + study townhouse in Palmera 4 Arabian Ranches for $654,720;
or even this 19th floor, 3883 sqft, 3 bedroom penthouse in the Al Fairooz Tower in Dubai Marina for a measly $3,394, 996. Watch out Donald!!
