Make this EASY space saving T-Shelf!!

You don’t even have to be a woodworker to pull off a knock off of Scandinavian Designs new T-Shelf!!! The larger shelf’s measurements are about 12" w x 6.5" h x 5.5" d while the mini variety measures 9.5" w x 5.75" h x 2.75" d. I’d probably set my OCD tendencies aside and just use some scrap 2 x 4's. Glue and/or toe-nail the suckers together, apply my choice of finish, add a couple of hooks from my favorite hardware or big box store and I’d be done!! And the greatest thing about this project...the original designer model costs $ 51.52 whereas our homemade reproductions would set us back next to nothing!!!! Great for holiday giving??? I say yes!
P.S. To Woodworkers: It looks like they joined the T via a channel in the horizontal piece. A few passes with a dado blade should do the trick if you really want an 'exact' replica.
