Make a Cupcake Color Wheel!!

Besides Lego Cakes, I can’t think of a better birthday surprise for the Curbly inclined as these Color Wheel Cupcakes. They’re easy to make and even simpler to decorate!
Ingredients:
1 2-layer-size package of red velvet, chocolate, white or yellow cake mix.
1 16-ounce can of white frosting
Candy-coated red, orange, yellow, green and blue milk chocolate pieces. Decorative sugar in the colors. Paint strips--courtesy of the paint store.
Assembly:
Prepare cake mix according to directions for cupcakes, using paper baking cups. Bake according to directions; cool.
Spread frosting on cupcakes and decorate with colored sugar and corresponding chocolate pieces. Group similarly colored paint strips on a platter–or just on the table–and arrange cupcakes on top as shown.
