Full or Fun: Does size matter on Halloween?

By DIY Maven

In our neighborhood we're known as the house that gives out full-size candy bars on Halloween. Why? Because full-size is a rare trick-or-treat treat around here and the look on a kid’s face when I hand over a gargantuan Hershey bar is priceless. I also argue that the big ones aren’t much more expensive–if at all–than snack size as giving out the mini-bars generally requires handing out more than one to each kid. Also, those little chocolate-y temptations are much easier to pilfer before the holiday than full-size bars, which prompts multiple trips to the store to replace your Halloween supply. So, for these reasons, it’s full size for us. How about you, fellow Curbliers? What is your treat of choice to give? How about to get???

For me it was pixie sticks. Oh, and Bazooka! Loved Bazooka. And chocolate. Anything chocolate.

As a kid it was, in order, 1. Milk Duds 2. Slow Poke 3. Snickers Bars. Although 1 & 2 could be interchanged.
