I think the reason #5 lost has something to do with that saying 'the nail that sticks up gets hammered down.' The bold colors got it noticed!

I vote for 8 or 10. Or 2. That whole right column is awful.

I actually think 5 is the least offensive. At least it knows its bold, and it's pattern isn't floral.
