How to make your own fabric wall appliques.

Check out Kayte’s absolutely fabulous homemade applique technique. Using fabric, liquid starch and a brayer, you too can make spectacular wall appliques that are easily removable. These are particularly good for apartment dwellers tired of staring at bare walls. Via Craftzine.

Wow, this is brilliant!! Several people here were asking about what to do to decorate apartment walls, too. I love this idea. I wonder though, how does it stand up to the moisture of a bathroom? And, I suppose modern liquid starches don't attract insects, do they?
