“Half a Portion” is just enough.

By DIY Maven

Check out Jette Scheib and Neels Kattentidt’s "Half a Portion" mirror available through the MoMA store. It has half a porcelain dinner plate attached to that serves as a shelf. The reflection of the plate plays a trick on the eye, of course, creating the illusion of a whole plate. The 17.75 h x 10.75 w x 6.25"d mirror will set you back $198 if you’re not a member and $178 if you are. Lovely.

Caya - I was thinking the same thing, lol. $3 mirror, $.50 plate, tube o' glue, tada. I would be afraid to put anything heavier than keys on the plate, though. I bet half a bowl with keys or candles would be neat too.
