A New Take on Brocade

Webster’s definition of brocade is ‘a rich oriental silk fabric with raised patterns in gold and silver’, which might be perfect for Victorian England but–let’s face it–this is the 21st century. Enter Brocade Home, a collection of furnishings and decorative items that would have Jane Erye running to the attic. You might say it’s an amalgamation of Victorian and shabby chic with a bit of modern thrown in just so we don’t forget this is not our great great great great grandmother’s idea of home decor.
