Goodbye Ugly Speakers! Hello Soundolier!

If you’re like me and think speakers are, well, generally speaking, ugly, take a look at the Soundolier. The floor lamp/cordless speaker combo would make Edison and Marconi proud–and possibly a bit envious. I’ve seen prices quoted around 379 a pop with a 79 dollar wireless audio transmitter option which lets you stream iPods and such. Now if it would only be an air cleaner as well....

I know people who have driven across the country to pick up a pair of speakers they got a "deal" on at $1500.00. Granted, it was the short way across the country. Personally, I've never seen a speaker I didn't like. Perhaps it's a guy thing. My wife hate's em too, but the cats like them.

The gist: great for looks, but quite tippable, and mediocre sound quality (it's wireless, after all) , and as the Mave pointed out, $$$!
