Why Everyone Should Learn How to Crochet (It’s all about recycling, baby!)
By DIY MavenIf the ideas on MyRecycledBags.com don’t inspire you to learn how to crochet, nothing will! Basically, the site features things made from plastic bags, cassette and VHS tapes. From totes to handbags, baby bibs to Barbie Doll clothes, MRB offers up a great collection of free patterns to reuse all that stuff we try to get rid of.

To learn how to convert plastic bags into yarn, check out this post, via Craftzine. And to help you learn how to crochet, check out Lion Brand Yarn, which has a very nice, user-friendly, step-by-step tutorial. For right AND left hand lessons, check out the Crochet Guild of America, found under 'Resources'.

The problem with a crocheted baby bib is that food would get in all the crevices, and it is next to impossible to TRULY get it all out. Nasty!
I'm pretty skilled at crochet, there's not anything I can't handle there, as far as I know. I'm going to check that link out, thanks.
