The Convertible Lampshade

By DIY Maven

Check out LeKlint’s UnderCover Lamp. Available in acrylic and glass varieties, the see-through quality allows for interchangeable inner shades. Additional inner shades are offered for purchase, but I’m thinking clever Curbliers could fashion DIY shades themselves for ultimate custom-ability.

Yeah, it just might be DIY-able. Plexiglass or Lexan is saw-able/drill-able. Put a hole in the top (or bottom, rather) and thread your wire through...

The same thing happens to me when I read British authors, but it's with spelling. Like colour and kerb, that sort of stuff!

The table lamp is so cute! I notice there are no prices on the website... meaning... $$$$? lol But I like the idea of being able to change the look so easily! I suppose one could fashion the entire thing out of a clear bucket/bowl, a lamp socket + bulb thing (not sure what those are called), and choice of cover? You reckon? (Excuse the rather British choice of words... I have been reading a lot of British authors lately and watching British movies.)
