Paper Folding With Robert Lang
By DIY Maven
Avid paper folders are probably familiar with the name Robert Lang, mathematician and origami master. ‘His work combines aspects of the Western school of mathematical origami design with the Eastern emphasis upon line and form to yield models that are at once distinctive, elegant, and challenging to fold.’ Calling them ‘challenging’ is an understatement. Just take a look at the crease pattern for the Stag Beetle pictured above.

If you are not yet intimidated beyond belief, go to his stunning on-line gallery for additional crease patterns. And for even more information about Dr. Lang, go to this article featured in The New Yorker.
