The Foot Flush

To go along with your hands free garbage can and toilet-paper-less toilets, how about a hands free toilet flusher? The Foot Flush from Comfy Bath retrofits to any existing toilet and installs in less then two minutes per the retailer’s website. Available in classic and 'fun' styles, the peddle comes in at $29.95. Considering a typical toilet handle can have up to 50,000 bacteria per square inch, it might be a good investment. Comfy Bath also points out that The Foot Flush is perfect for people with limited mobility, as well as a potty training and flushing motivator.

Actually, the cat was more flushing the toilet for his/her own pleasure than anything else--it would flush, then watch excitedly as the water swirled around and disappeared--then repeat it over and over and over and over again.

I'll have to check that out! I would LOVE to teach kitty how to use the toilet. Just think...no litter box.

Speaking of flushing, have you seen the Youtube video of the amazing Flushing Cat? I've been trying to teach Bacon to do the same thing--no success thus far. :(

Hey! That is great. I'm afraid of cooties--it drives hubby mad--so this would be great. Of course, a couple sprays of Lysol now and then would probably also take care of that, right? I can totally see how this could be abused , though! Kids would just step on it repeatedly to watch it flush... (Geez, what is it with me and kids?)
