Petite Sofas From Room & Board

Have you noticed the on-going trend toward gargantuan sofas? Hey, if you’ve got the room, no problem, but for those people who don’t have the space to spare, finding the perfect sofa can be a trying shopping experience. Until now, that is. Room & Board have an entire section of their website devoted to the small-scale sofa. I counted no less than 51 to choose from. And just because their stature is small doesn’t mean their style is. Most of the petite sofas are available in lengths anywhere from 59" to 79", so, like Goldilocks, you should be able to find one that's just right.

I have driven by that R & B Outlet hundreds of times (I volunteer at AHS) and--I'm ashamed to admit--I have never stopped in. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

If you live in the Minneapolis area (where Room & Board is headquartered) there is an Room & Board Outlet store. Make sure you arrive early Saturday morning (at least 45 minutes before opening) to get first dibs at the good stuff.

Room and Board is definitely huge on the style factor, but Crate & Barrel is a good alternative for people who might want a more classic-looking sofa.
