Another Recycled Vinyl LP Idea: The Snack Tray

Check out The Green Apple’s recycled LP snack tray. The UK emporium sells them for 20£ a piece, but they are very likely DIY-able. A bit more work than an LP bowl and candelabra, you would need a donut-shaped form. I’d suggest some sort of wood product cut to size. Then just position the LP over the donut and place in a low-temp oven (about 200<), coaxing down the label and the lip to form the rim of the tray as the LP becomes pliable.

I have seen instructions on doing this! I don't remember where... I think you put it in the oven on low heat for a few minutes, then you can manipulate it with potholders and let it cool. If you mess it up, just put it back in. I don't think you can get that exect shape, but more of a free-form bowl.
