Natural stone is hot, no doubt, but some sink manufacturers are taking the trend to the next level with all stone pedestal and console sinks. Yeah, they’re heavy and expensive, but hey, if you love the look of stone, want to make a statement and have the bucks with which to do it, it’s an option. Plus, if you want to use your new sink as a sacrificial altar, the drain would make for easy cleanup.
